Qualifications
Required
Responsible and dedicated individual
Experience working with the elderly (one year minimum)
Good communication skills
Ability to problem-solve quickly
Preferred
Valid caregiver certification
Valid first-aid and CPR certification
Responsibilities
Assist with walking and light exercise
Plan and prepare meals
Make beds and change linens
Perform light housekeeping tasks (e.g., dusting, vacuuming, taking out the garbage)
Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
Handle laundry and ironing
Run errands (e.g., picking up prescriptions, dry cleaning)
Engage in physical and mental exercises (e.g., games, memory books)
Maintain calendar and organize mail
Monitor medications and update health charts
Document and report any changes in client health status
Ensure client safety and well-being
